What is the ESPR Readiness Assessment?
It is a free, 19-question self-assessment that scores your organisation's readiness for the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, focusing on the Article 24 disclosure obligation and the Article 25 destruction ban. It produces a traffic-light score and a downloadable remediation checklist.
Is the assessment free?
Yes, the assessment is free of charge. There is no payment required at any point and no credit card is involved. Your individual question answers stay in your browser; at the end, you provide a work email and company name so we can deliver your results.
Do you ask for anything at the end?
At the end, after you have answered all 19 questions, you provide a company name and a work email address. We show your readiness score on screen and also send you a friendly email with your score summary and remediation checklist, so you can share it internally. We do not accept personal email addresses (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and similar) because this assessment is built for B2B compliance teams. Your individual question answers stay in your browser; only your company name, work email, and the score summary are sent to Flexireo.
How is the readiness score calculated?
Each of the 19 questions is scored, the scores are summed per category and overall, and the totals are converted to a traffic-light rating (Red, Amber, or Green). The categories follow the structure of the ESPR Article 24 disclosure obligation: entity scope, data infrastructure, workflow infrastructure, documentation, and reporting.

What happens on 19 July 2026?
For large enterprises placing apparel and footwear on the EU market, the ESPR Article 25 destruction ban has applied since 19 July 2026. Destroying unsold apparel and footwear is prohibited unless one of the ten derogations applies and is documented. The standardised Article 24 disclosure format applies from 2 March 2027.
How long does the assessment take?
About seven minutes. It is 19 questions; you answer one question at a time and can step back to revise earlier answers.
What does a Red, Amber, or Green score mean?
Green indicates strong readiness with only minor gaps. Amber indicates partial readiness with priority gaps to close before the deadline. Red indicates significant gaps; the remediation checklist is the starting point, and the data and documentation categories are usually the right priorities.
